From October 21 to 25, 2024, Fair Finance Asia (FFA) conducted its 2024 annual General Assembly (GA) in Manila, Philippines. The GA was attended by 77 participants (33 male, 44 female) from 21 countries, representing FFA country coalitions, research and advocacy partners, Fair Finance International (FFI), the Swedish International Cooperation Agency (Sida), and FFA’s Regional Executive Team (ET). Co-hosted by Fair Finance Philippines (FFPh), the GA featured sessions with innovative modalities aimed at amplifying the FFA network’s advocacy and influencing activities in 2024, facilitating strategic alliance-building and partnerships, and reflecting on program implementation priorities and next steps. 

Through the FFA GA, the network’s achievements are celebrated, challenges and emerging risks in financial sector influencing discussed, and regional thematic advocacy, campaign, and implementation priorities are planned. Furthermore, the GA serves as a platform to strengthen regional collaboration and camaraderie within the FFA network and its partners.
