
Gender Transformative Mainstreaming in Climate Finance: Tools and Pathways
Fair Finance Asia (FFA) in collaboration with Dr. Wilatluk Ging Sinswat of Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) Asia have produced a training video on the nexus between inclusive climate finance and gender justice.
The training video delves into the different key concepts and frameworks for gender equity, diversity/disability and social inclusion (GEDSI), importance of GEDSI in climate action and climate finance, the main tools and pathways for mainstreaming GEDSI in climate finance projects, key challenges in mainstreaming GEDSI in climate finance, and opportunities for civil society organizations (CSOs) to advocate for mainstreaming GEDSI in climate finance.

Green and Climate Finance
FFA in collaboration with Juliette Laplane, Senior Sustainability Researcher at Profundo, have developed a training video aimed at strengthening the capacity of FFA’s national coalitions and network partners on green and climate finance.
The video explores the definitions and relevance of green and climate finance, examines current challenges in the climate finance landscape, and identifies the key actors and financial instruments involved. It also highlights strategic areas for research and advocacy that FFA coalitions can engage with to advance climate justice and financial accountability.

Rights in a Digital Age in Asia
FFA in collaboration with Lorenzo Urbinati, Strategic Advisor-Rights in Digital Space and Data Justice of Oxfam in Asia, have produced a training video to increase the capacity of FFA’s national coalitions and network partners to understand the intersections between risks posed by digitalization and increasingly popular digital tools such as Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), sustainable finance, and civic space issues in Asia.
The training video includes presentation of the civic space landscape in Asia, overview of Oxfam’s Rights in a Digital Age (RiADA) framework and five pillars, and how RiADA can support sustainable finance advocacy. The training video also explores the concept of digital repression, its key dimensions and how to mitigate risks through a holistic approach as well as specific digital security tools that can be used.

How to Build an Effective Campaigning Strategy for the Finance Sector
FFA in collaboration with Heffa Schücking, Director of Urgewald, have produced a training video to build the capacity of FFA’s national coalitions and network partners to understand key concepts and strategies for effective campaigning, particularly in the areas of fossil fuel finance and divestment and re-direction of financing towards clean and safe renewable energy.
The training video includes the importance of finance campaigning, the different concepts of finance campaigning, case studies of Urgewald’s campaigns and experiences with finance campaigning, including selecting the right targets and effective strategies and tools.

Net-Zero Banking and Transition Finance
FFA in collaboration with Christine Grüning, Director, Frankfurt School-UNEP Collaborating Centre on Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance, and Carola Menzel-Hausherr, Head, Frankfurt School-UNEP Collaborating Centre on Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance have produced a training video which covers discussions on net-zero commitments and how they are linked to climate-aligned objectives and transition; the role of financial markets in supporting decarbonization and climate-resilient initiatives; and what net-zero or sustainable finance scenario analysis are critical for financial decision-making and regulation.
